Essential Community
Discipleship is essential to our community at FPC. We know the world can be a lonely, messy place, but Jesus did not intend for the Christian life to be lived alone. He came not to just save you from your sins, but to fix and heal our broken world and to redeem a community of people. We believe meaningful relationships within that community are vital in discovering our role in God’s plan for redemption.
Faith in Practice
It is easy to be confused about what “following Jesus” really looks like in our own lives. We get it because we’ve been there. Our goal in discipleship groups is for each member of our church to have a safe place to be able to deepen their faith and learn how to integrate it into their everyday lives. We care for each other, eat and pray together, discuss the Bible, and invite others into our lives and homes.
